Image Processing

Image Processing

Software for extracting information from photographs or video frames. Examples include identifying human beings in a photo, classifying other man made or natural objects and techniques for tracking their movement over time e.g. a ground vehicle’s route.

This information will be used to help an intelligent system to understand its environment and enable it to make better plans and decisions. Comparing changes in imagery over time can also provide a means of anomaly detection.
